That which I focus on, captures my attention ...

Updated: Mar 28, 2020

You know how when you're skiing, or mountain biking, or golfing, if you focus on where you want to go, you go there? Your mind's focus helps you aim into that mogul, turn, or fairway. Our mind's focus can also work in the reverse. When I focus on a tree or a rock,or a water hazard, I can end up in a close call or even worse.

How about your thoughts today? Are you focusing on COVID-19 to the point that even an innocent clearing of your throat causes you to pause ...

I love what kids are doing today; they are focusing on healthy "Protective Factors" that build a strong foundation for life, so that when confronted with life's "Risk Factors" they can focus, feel resilience, and have a choice.

"What choice can I make, that fully aligns with 'who I am' and 'what matters most, to me'?

Take some time today to pause when confronted with a choice, to ground yourself, feel your balance, find yourcenter, and focus. Focus on 'what matters most, to me'. When you focus on your own beliefs and values, defined deep within, the whispers of your soul (we refer to as intuition) will guide you on your path of TRUE/NORTH.
